Why use a heatsink\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0a case, when you can use a heatsink case?! This sleek, anodised aluminium case for Raspberry Pi 5 will give you 10-15\u00b0C of passive cooling under full CPU load. Pretty cool.<\/p>\n

It’s great for situations where you want completely silent cooling and 100% reduction in dust-bunnies. Ideal for light industrial or home media settings.<\/p>\n

It is also compatible with the\u00a0official Camera and Display connectors\u00a0and\u00a0PCIe cables, unlike other heatsink RPI 5 cases we’ve seen, although you’ll have to install these through the case before installing.<\/p>\n

Note: No cable included.<\/p>\n

It comes with thermal pads to provide thermal contact between the\u00a0Pi and case, and a handy allen key and set\u00a0of hex bolts to attach the case together.<\/p>\n

The case gives to everything but the debug and RTC battery ports. You can\u00a0just<\/em>\u00a0about get away with using low-profile HATs and pHATs (those without bulky components on the underside), using one of our\u00a0booster headers, but\u00a0be extremely careful not to short any components<\/strong>\u00a0on the metal top case! The booster headers will stack in case you need to use two for chunky component clearance purposes.<\/p>\n

    • The case is metal and hence conductive, so be careful not to short any components on it, and\u00a0ensure that your Pi is powered off and unplugged<\/strong>\u00a0when fitting the case.<\/li>\n
    • It may be obvious, but the case will get\u00a0hot<\/strong>\u00a0in use especially under sustained heavy system load!<\/li>\n
